This is one of the worst supplements / protein powders I've ever bought
1I never write reviews as I am usually very forgiving but this collagen protein is genuinely foul. I opted for unflavoured as I saw other reviews that the flavoured was too sweet and was hoping to mix it in my green smoothies / matchas / porridges but the unflavoured taste is so overbearing even with sweetener you can taste it. My partner described it as tasting like paint / cement but truly, it's like nothing I've ever tasted before. It doesn't mix well either, anything even slightly warm makes it crystalize into chunks. I'm really sorry MyProtein but this wasn't a good purchase and it's a shame as I now have a whole bag going to waste.

PLEASE REVERT TO THE OLD RECIPE!!! (new formula sucks)
1The old recipe was perfect. The nutrition stats were perfect, the taste was sweet, with no afters and the mixability was like salt dissolving in water. The new recipe leaves a horrible after taste that makes you grimace and is really difficult to want to consume. PLEASE REVERT TO THE OLD RECIPE!!! Side note - ladies collagen in water won't make you feel bloater like whey powder does Goes Well With:Nothing any more, the taste isn't great. (old formula was perfect in water and milk was fine too, so were alternative milks)

Keeps me going day after day after day!!
5I’m a very busy plasterer and have been for the last 17 years!! Before that worked in a sport and leisure environment . Always been active playing and competing in sports. I’m now 46 and really graft every day as a plasterer. I love my job and I love the workout I get on a daily basis. I believe that if I wasn’t supplementing my diet with this product (and some others) I’d have fallen apart by now! I feel tired of course at the end of the day/week, but I recover quickly to crack on the following day!! This supplement I believe helps me and my joints, ligaments etc. I wouldn’t dare go more than a few days without this protein powder. It’s a great clean protein and mixes and tastes good!! Goes Well With:Water and EAA’s

Fantastic source of protein
5Fantastic product. As a 50 year old woman I usually take a collagen supplement and have increased protein in my diet along with weight training. This is 2 in 1 product for me. 100% bovine and 23g protein for 90 calories. It’s such a versatile product as I can have it in coffee, mix into greek yoghurt etc… it’s unflavoured and mixes well, even in a black coffee. Highly recommend.

New unflavoured taste isn’t nice
1I’ve been buying the unflavoured collagen protein for months and recently the packaging and flavour has changed. It no longer has zero taste, is very sweet with a bitter ending. I can no longer mix into my coffee without tasting it, why has it changed?

NEW PACKAGING PACK TASTES BAD
1Have been buying this unflavoured collagen protein regularly and just received the new pink packaging version. It tastes really bad, has a strong bitterness to it and leaves horrible aftertaste. No longer able to mix with anything without the taste. Why change it?Goes Well With:Nothing

Awful New Formula
1I doubled up on my last order of this unflavoured collagen protein powder, as I've used it after every training session for a long time now. I usually had it with coffee and using my milk frother, it made a lovely, creamy latte. I have just opened my first newly designed packet and as many other reviews have mentioned, the powder is now yellow and has a strange curry-like smell. Much worse though is the horrible, bitter chemical taste, which has made this product basically inedible. Why has this formula changed and why is My Protein not doing anything about resolving the issues with their loyal customers? Personally, I would like to return the items for a refund.Goes Well With:Nothing now.

Tastes great.
5Collagen is great for the skin, hair and all the connective tissue in our body. Hence I knew I wanted to have this daily. Great results after a month of use and tastes great! Happy there's no sugar

Newer version is poor
2My first unflavoured bag was great, virtually tasteless. The second bag has a definite unpleasant taste (along the beefy, bovrilly line). It’s not pleasant, and I won’t be reordering. It mixes okay but there are some lumps and these are unpleasantly chewy if you don’t just chug it down. Goes Well With:Definitely not coffee
