Essential Whey - Strawberry Cream
3Positives - good price point and tastes 'ok' The not so positives are that in my opinion it does not 'easily' mix well, certainly when compared to the 'Impact' range. The taste is quite artificial, again compared to 'Impact' range.

Hard to mix
2I would definitely spend the extra few pound to get the impact whey. I think this tastes okay but it does not mix well at all. Your probably need a blended to mix it not a shaker which is now good of you are on the go.

5This genuinely tastes amazing to the point it’s like a treat to have it. It’s mind blowing how affordable it is compared to other brands. No doubt a must buy

Cheap protein
2They say you get what you pay for. This protein powder is definitely a cheap way to get your protein in but unfortunately the taste reflects that. It doesn’t taste of very much and has a very powdery texture even when mixed with milk. I purchased the chocolate flavoured powder.

Great Protein for Recovery and Taste!
5’ve been using the Essential Whey Protein for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it’s really impressive! The taste is smooth and not too overpowering, and it mixes pretty well with just water. I’ve noticed an improvement in my energy levels after workouts, and I feel like my recovery has been quicker. It’s not the cheapest, but definitely worth the price considering the quality.

3Bought each of the flavours. Pros: Cheapest form of protein supplement Cons: Doesn’t mix as well if having as a shake - doesn’t affect me too much as I have it in my porridge The taste of the strawberry is whey too overpowering and artificial for me. Think the best is the vanilla one

Lumpy and artificial
1This is really bad compared to all other MyProtein protein powders I've had. Maybe the initial vegan powder was worse, but that one has improved a lot. This one doesn't mix well and creates loads of lumps. I noticed improvement if I threw in a few ice cubes in the shaker. The strawberry cream flavour is overly sweet and extremely artificial, barely drinkable. I will not buy it again.

Tastes great, needs additional preparation.
4I purchased the vanilla - like a lot of the comments say, the mixability isn't great, but you can get around this by leaving in the fridge overnight once prepared and re-shaking in the morning. This should remove any lumps. Taste and price are both great.

Excellent taste
5Have bought many Whey protein powders but this one is by far the nicest tasting. Easy to mix in either water or milk based. Ideal post workout protein shake.
