Mix into food not drinks
4I bought this protein to mix into foods instead of drink to up the protein in my meals. I hate the over sweetened protein drinks. It does have a more savoury taste and definitely smells just slightly beefy. But I mix it in my plain porridge oats with honey and it doesn't effect the taste. You can add it to pies, stir frys, sauces and gravies I feel like I add to everything now. Plus it's cheap. Yeah you do have to mix it well and it doesn't taste nice o. It's own. But follow the above and you're laughing. Goes Well With:Sauces. Porridge. Pies. Gravies. Any "wet" meal.

Mix it with Nutribullet, great result
5I mix this in my Nutribullet with some dairy free milk and a couple of frozen strawberries and a pinch of vanilla. It blends perfectly with the Nutribullet and tastes great as I can flavor it myself. I make also a chocolate powder - banana mix. I add no sweeteners at all, just use the fruit, that's why I love this neutral flavor kind. Recommend it and for all those complaining about mixability: use a Nutribullet!!Goes Well With:Rice milk, frozen strawberries, vanilla. or Rice milk, cocoa powder (unsweetened), half a banana.

Carnipro
5I dont see what everyones complaining about. I find that it mixes and tastes really good but it is best to leave it sitting for a couple of minutes after its shaken and let any lumps dissolve. I mix with water and have found carnipro to be the best product around.Goes Well With:Anything

I love it
5For the mixability 'problems' I never even noticed it because I usually always blend it either with icecubes and/ or fruit/frozen fruit and water, ofcource this is due to habit because that's already how I preferred my whey shake. But use either with a stick blender or blender Ive never had any problems. Now where this beef protein excelle, is that it becomes deliciously thick and creamy when blended with ice or frozen fruit almost like an ice cream - or budding like consistency.Which I personally love and it becomes thick enough to be eaten with a spoon.I suppose one could add more water if one would prefer to drink it - and now, to me ,honestly whey is boring compared to this even blended up in the same way it just doesn't become as 'creamy' and soft. I have experience with another brand of beef isolate protein and they don't have vanilla flavor ( however I was inclined to buy theirs as they apparently source their protein from cows that are grass fed, it almost couldnt be better, As close to organic sourced IMO.and about same price as MYP ) But tried a few their flavors, and while they where quite good tasting and had the same creamy and thickening effect when blended out with ice, I very quickly grew tired of the flavor and longed for the vanilla from myprotein. Tip to USE WITH OUT a blender : ( shaker cup needed though) If you don't have blender readily available, e.g. after training, at work or out and about, (and your can't or won't blend it out before hand, and bring it with you like that ) I have found that it is possible in a shaker cup just vastly different and quite 'obnoxious' to mix, first off use preferebly a shaker cup with a net in the top opposed to one with the 'blender ball'. And then start with about only an inch of water ( or 2 depending on how small your shaker is and how much powder you desire to use. E.g. If the shaker is very slim/narrow or if you desire to shake out 2 scoops of powder at the time, go for about 2 inches of water) in shaker, then add the powder and ( close shaker tightly) shake vigorously for about 30 sec-1 min then add a bit more water and shake thoroughly again and let it sit 2-5 min, shake again and add maybe a bit more water 'to taste and consistency' but usually this takes care of any 'uncomfortable lumps'.Goes Well With:Water, Icecubes, frozen fruit, immersion/ stick blender or blender -

Bad Taste and Mixability
3It's a good protein for those that can't drink protein from milk. The taste is bad, usually I use protein unflavoured and I give the flavour with organic cocoa. With this protein it doesn't work The mixability is terrible, worst I ever tried. I hope a new version of this protein with better mixability.

Good stuff
4All the plebs complaining about mixablility or taste just need to put it in a smoothie. Taste is sweet, absorbability is good, and doesn't give you sprinkler farts like whey does

Carnipro Chocolate
3Product: Carnipro chocolate flavour (1kg) Dairy intolerant looking for an alternative to whey, I have tried other brand vegan proteins and have not found a good one that mixes well with water. First try of Carnipro was with water. I couldn't finish it due to the salty taste and the lumpiness. Mixes okay with Almond milk and is slightly less salty, not close to being as good as the impact whey protein sadly. Works okay in overnight oats. Overall, not sure ill re-order, needs work on the taste and texture side, not sure I want actually taste meat when drinking a sweet drink on a daily basis, even if its for nutrition purposes.Goes Well With:Almond milk (definitely order a sample to try first!) or overnight oats
