The Quiet Builder
5Casein is a great muscle builder! Slow absorption drip feeding into your system while you sleep, it works while you rest and recover from the day. I have been using it every night for so long I can't remember, and I can't really see me ever stopping. I use the unflavoured, then mix with other things. Downside- Can make you a bit bloated about half an hour after having it, but that's over pretty quick and then it's bed time. Goes Well With:The Best Bed Time Drink- Half scoop MP Protein Hot Chocolate 1 Scoop MP Casein 1 Scoop MP Crunchy Peanut Butter Cocoa powder to taste (I like it very chocolatey). Mixed with enough water to fill a S****s D****t mug. It's like drinking a snickers bar .....almost.

Good for casein pudding
4This is a quick easy option for some late night protein if you're down on your protein goal but don't have loads of calories to play with. I tend to mix about 30g casein with 120ml of almond milk and beat in a bowl to make a pudding texture. Serve with some berries and dip in a rice cake.Goes Well With:Almond milk

A Must Have. Tricky to Mix
5Really happy with this product. It supplements my veggie diet with added protein for very few calories. I didn’t want sweeteners so I have unflavoured which doesn’t bother me but if you’re used to sweet flavoured protein products then just choose one that works best for you. I take this 3 times a day. Morning/Lunch/dinner (never before bed like some Bros will tell you) as the slow release satiates my appetite especially on a cut. I’ve actually grown in mass much faster since taking it and feel less lethargic. I came unstuck, like many, with mixing it. It’s very hard to mix with anything. Someone suggested to me to stir not shake, which definitely helps but I found the best solution is to mix with whey. A 1:1 ratio of casein to whey works perfectly but 2:1 ratio works too. It removes all froth and foam with no additional bits. I will be getting another bag soon.Goes Well With:Water and Whey

Good substitute for whey
5Both my boyfriend and I get stomach issues with whey protein, but neither of us do with Casein. I use mine mostly in my porridge - we get unflavoured and It doesn’t make it taste cheesy like whey did. He uses it in smoothies - it doesn’t dissolve as well as whey, and can be a bit grainy, but you get used to it after a while and its better than stomach ache. I have been using it for years and years and would definitely recommend it.Goes Well With:Porridge, overnight oats, smoothies, coconut milk.
