Avoid!!
1I have bought this product several times before and its always been great however this latest pack is going straight in the bin. Very grainy texture and does not mix well or taste good. Very disappointed! Especially as I bought 5kg!Goes Well With:Bin bags. Used to go well with milkshake powder.

Basically cement
1I'm new to casein I won't lie. So I'm not sure if the issues I have with this are common across all brands but this is the worst protein I've tried to date. (I bought the chocolate flavour) First of all it's an extremely light powder, make sure you're opening and scooping this over the sink. Literally hold your breathe if you have to, or it will go everywhere. I first tried mixing this with milk as almost all protein I've tried is best with milk so I'll test the best case scenario. Well, that best case was infact just cement. I used the recommended 250ml milk and literally knocked that thing back 180 degrees and it wouldn't even come out! Okay I thought, milk is a no go, that's fine must just be heavy on creamers or something. Nope, all though I was able to actually drink it when mixed with water, it didn't mix at all in reality. In reality the powder is just floating in a flavourless paste. Imagine scooping up sand from the sea bed, that's what it felt like I was drinking. The tiniest hint of chocolate that really did nothing to ease the experience. Will be trying a more reputable brand to see if this is a quality thing, but if not then the benefits of casein are simply not worth the pain.Goes Well With:Bricks and mortar

5Great product , lovely tasting , does what says on the tin . Goes Well With:Milk or I usually used water .

Awful avoid!!
1Bought the strawberry casein. Does not mix well at all and tastes horrible. Wish I saw the real reviews on this product than the high ones that are posted at the bottom of the page. Avoid!!

Casein
5Mixes up easy i only use unflavoured so taste is what it is like to keep everything natural a regular re buy for me would recommend.Goes Well With:Mix with whey for a midday shake when at work and can't fit a meal in.

Horrible stuff
1This product is absolutely disgusting it doesn’t mix well at all, It leaves a foam on the top of the liquid and even though it’s mixed to the nth degree you can still taste powder. By far the worst casein I have ever tried.Goes Well With:Absolutely nothing

Gritty Foam
1I've used Myprotein products for years now and generally had no complaints until I bought this. I've got the vanilla flavour which tastes like pure artificial sugar and as many people have said, it doesn't mix very well, It's gritty and there's more foam than an Ibiza night club. I'm sure it will do the job but I'm just not sure I can stomach it.

slow release casein
1so I just mixed 1 scoop with 300ml of water like it says I vigorously shook it for a minute and it was so thick and foamy I saw the liquid at the bottom it just created unnecessary foam.. I stirred it and shook again because when I tried it, it was clumpy and still thick foam and very grainy it's a shame because the impact whey mixes as good as the best where as this is vile.. I poured it out and it clearly just clumps at the bottom.. is there any tips on how to combat this? because I've given a star because I think its flavour would be okay and a star because of its contents but beyond that I wouldnt dream of doing that and I used to scoff pre workout off a spoon and neck a glass of water.Goes Well With:a refund.

What happened?
1So I’ve been using a big 5kg bag of “Bedtime Extreme” for a while and it’s beautiful stuff! However I’d emptied the bag and needed some more, only to find it’s no longer available and this stuff now seems to be its replacement. Don’t be fooled! It’s not the same at all. It’s very gritty, almost like there’s sand in the shaker. It scratches my throat on the way down and not sure I can drink anymore of it. Very sad considering how amazing tasting and smooth the Bedtime Extreme was. Will have to go elsewhere for casein now sadly. Goes Well With:Nothing.

Great flavour, questionable texture
3This literally smells like strawberry nesquick! I was excited to try but found that the texture is really gritty. That's the only thing letting it down. If you can get past the texture its not a bad shakeGoes Well With:Milk
