Hmmmm?
3Hmmmm?….these are a bit unusual in my humble opinion. Quite a dark taste and a little bitter for a Fudge Brownie flavour. They are also very firm in texture and take some getting through, unlike the texture of a brownie. Not quite fit for the bin but they are going to be something that I only have now and then. Goes Well With:Tea…lots of tea to try wash them down.

Crunchy but good
4I like these bars, they do have an interesting taste which some people may not like. For a quick protein snack I find them ideal.

Chewy
5Not great when they’ve been in my cycling jersey pocket for a couple of hours but taste good, low sugar & high protein. Been trying to find the bar I received as a free sample a while ago, unfortunately not these. Hoping it’s the chocolate, caramel & nut ones which I will try next! Good price when on offer. Goes Well With:Anything

It's ok (dark chocolate seasalt)
3I absolutely loved the original dark chocolate and seasalt carb crusher so I was so so excited to try these, but I honestly felt it was a total let down. Firstly there is no way these are dark chocolate, it looks like milk chocolate and it tastes like milk chocolate which is a bit disappointing. Also the texture isn't great, a little too chewy and not enough crispiness. If I was rating it alongside the OG carb crusher, I would have given it 1 star BUT, compared to other protein bars on the market, this is probably still one of the better ones (I've tried some absolute stinkers!) so overall I'll say 3 stars. The value for money (if you get them on offer) definitely makes them worth it. I wouldn't rush to buy again, but if I ever notice them on sale then I might try another flavour.
