Horrible unless you strain it
2The instructions say to mix the powder with cold water and then microwave. No matter how hard you think you’ve mixed it you still have lumps and then when you microwave it the lumps go like overcooked egg. Chew one and it will be stuck to your tooth all day. Maybe you have to mix in a blender and then pour into a microwaveable mug to heat, what a palaver!! Once you’ve dirtied two mugs and a tea strainer (clogged with bulletproof lumps) it tastes ok if a little over sweet and under-chocolatey.Goes Well With:A strainer

5Oh my god, this hot chocolate is better then any other hot chocolate weather it’s normal or protein this takes the cake, flavour is perfect, I don’t usually right reviews but this product deserves it mixing is okay but isn’t perfect…. Goes Well With:Milk

Great Swap for Those Who Love Hot Chocolate!
4The powder makes a thick and creamy hot chocolate with a sweet, slightly marshmallowy flavour. If mixed with cold liquid the powder is thick and remains lumpy. I would recommend using a whisk or hand blender to remove any lasting lumps or make on a stove top for best results. I wouldn't say it's a 'quick operation' to make a mug on the go. Its a little too sweet to make a big mug so I usually just have a small one and it still fills me up well, I would like to see a darker more bitter option available. That aside the nutrition profile was too good to pass up especially as winters creeping in and we all get hot sweet cravings this really hits the spot. The scoop they provide in the pack gives 'whey' too much, so if you're not doing so already use your kitchen scales! Goes Well With:A cozy duvet day after an Autumn walk/ jog/ run.

Not worth it
2I dunno how people are saying this mixes well - I've tried whisking before microwaving and there's just always lumps. Flavour is pretty artificial, and honestly this feels like it's just a generic whey protein powder labeled as hot chocolate.

5Flavoured just like Normal hot chocolate. Wouldn’t know the difference. I recommend mixing with half milk and half hot water to get the best flavour.

5Was in mixed thoughts about this product from reading the reviews. So glad I just bought it anyway!! Tastes nicer than any non protein hot chocolate!!! Might taste too sweet if you don't have a sweet tooth. Perfect for a chocolate craving! I mix one scoop in a mug with approx 180ml of cold water, with a fork to avoid clumping. I top it up with another 20ml. I heat it in microwave then for 90sec. And it's perfect! Only issue I have is with the packaging the seal on it doesn't close properly. Goes Well With:200ml of water

Doesn’t dissolve!
1The powder does not dissolve in hot water, even stirred it with a fork! Just got mouthfuls of protein powder in lumps

Solved the clumps issue
5It's delicious, I was having problems with clumping but what works now for me is 400ml of full fat milk in a saucepan then add in the scoop of powder and whisk continuously until it's all dissolved, makes it really creamy and no clumpsGoes Well With:Toast

Amazing!!!
5I have literally brought this about 3/4 times now. I use a milk frother to mix it into hot milk and it honestly tastes just like your regular hot chocolate just with 15g of protein! Just make sure you put the milk in before the powder or it goes clumpy xxGoes Well With:Breakfast / bedtime drink
