Only of you like chewing Play-Do
1Really not very nice, Like someone has mixed whey powder, yellow Play-Do and some artificial tasting lemon flavouring..

The most synthetic bar ever
1This was horrendous just like a long sticky sweet from the 80s. Tasted of nothing and awful texture. It even bends into different shapes it’s that synthetic

Protein light bar
1Bars are far too chewy. Like a fudge bar not coated in chocolate. My teeth are sore after eating. Careful if you have fillings😁

Protein Light Bar
5I play a lot of netball and usually my training and fixtures mean I do not have time between work and netball to eat. I bought these bars as I thought they would be able to give me the energy I needed, without the sugar and calories in things like a flapjack. And it totally works! I even eat them as a normal snack now because they taste so good.

Filling and tasty
5The quality of this product is great. It tastes great and it is filling where it not only takes the edge off hunger, but gets rid of it for a while. It’s large enough a snack to satisfy a ‘hungry’ person tooGoes Well With:I haven’t mixed it with anything, but always need water after I finish a bar

Terrible Taste
1Considering nutritional values, should be nicer. Just like chewing a block of tar. A thin layer of flavour on the outside would go a long way

Amazing
5Firstly the almond vanilla flavour isn't great, really dry and boring (and 4 cals per bar more than peanut caramel). But, peanut caramel is AMAZING. Think snickers meets nougat. Excellent macros.

Disappointing
1Worst protein bar I have ever tasted! Absolutely vile and the after taste is ten times worse! Goes Well With:The bin!!

A throwback to the early days of protein bars
1I do rate myprotein's powders highly for both taste and mixability, but this bar is truly disappointing. Not terrible but way behind PHD smart and diet whey bars as well as Grenade bars. All those also offer 20g of protein but with even less sugar, and far superior taste and texture, providing a genuine treat experience. There you get crunch or fluffiness compared to a gooey tecture here. I have tried dozens of protein bars over the past 20 years and these remind me of what they used to be like. They will only be saved from the bin by my tightness... back to the lab is my advice!
