"smooth" yeah... No.
1So I've been buying myprotein for the last two years, and I can confidently say it's done it's job. That was until this month. I thought I'd change things up a little and buy this vegan powder. Holy moly! The powder looks like plaster and when you mix it with a liquid it still looks like plaster. A bonus is it also tastes like freshly mixed plaster. Honestly the most disgusting shake ever made and I've tried maximuscles strawberry one. Only good thing is the price, but I'd rather spend twice as much for a tastier one where the flavour "smooth chocolate" is both smooth in texture and tastes like chocolate. Goes Well With:Other hobbies such as being extremely disappointed by your go to protein manufacturer.

Amazing
5I honestly don’t know what people are talking about when they say it doesn’t mix well?! Give it a good shake! Not a weak half hearted shake haha. I’ve never tried whey protein but as far as vegan proteins go this one is a godsend. Strawberry cream flavour is the only flavoured once I’ve tried so far and it’s like a milkshake! It’s not grainy like the pea protein and vegan blend I’ve found the best way to mix this to stop is sticking to the sides and bottom (like any protein powder) is to put some liquid in first, then protein, then more liquid. Leave some space at the top and shake it good.Goes Well With:Goes brilliantly in smoothies, by itself and if you wanna step it up a notch add some flavdrops in there (white choc)

Tastiest protein powder
4I agree with the reviews that said it’s really thick and doesn’t mix well - that’s absolutely true. However, I don’t really mind the mousse-like texture, I use it instead of yogurt or just eat it for dessert because the flavour (vanilla) is amazing! Best tasting vegan protein powder I’ve ever tried (for me personally it tastes way better than the Missfits powders, however Missfits powders do have better ingredients). I also find it mixes way easier if I use half a scoop.Goes Well With:Frozen berries, almond milk.

It was a surprise!
4So I’ve recently become vegan & changed to this product from whey. The first time I made it, I made it as I would the whey and it did literally turn into cement, so I added more water until it was drinkable - I bought vanilla but at the same time bought some flavour drops which worked well! Yes it’s different to whey but it’s not horrible and you get a much bigger filling drink. I will be buying more

Disgusting
1This is absolutely vile and doesn't mix with anything. When mixed and left to sit for a minute it all clumps up at the bottom. The only way I can just about bare to eat it is by mixing it with pineapple juice but even then it's like eating a glass of water full of sand. Goes Well With:Nothing but edible with pineapple juice

Use a blender!
4Using a blender, the soy protein is great - really tasty, but otherwise, it is impossible to mix and remains in big clumps.Goes Well With:Iced coffee

Wallpaper paste
1This is easily the worst protein powder I have ever bought. I am lactose intolerant so can't eat whey products. I ordered this thinking it would be like the previous product I ordered ( Vegan Active woman's blend) which was good. This is awful and I want to return it and have a replacement. It won't mix, is glutinous, sets like concrete, tastes disgusting and smells foul. Can't believe you can actually sell this.Goes Well With:Wallpaper

Strawberry Cream
1Easily the worst tasting shake I've ever had my entire life, don't even attempt to get it, even just to try! your just wasting your money, I've literally had one shake out of a kilo bag and its getting thrown in the bin. worst money I've ever spent.Goes Well With:a bin bag

Pros and cons
3First thing is this doesn’t taste like chocolate at all but just of pure soy, which isn’t awful but also not great. When you mix with water it forms a thick paste but then you add more and it just becomes to thin and watery. The macros are really great though so I use it a lot for mixing with other stuff (eg protein brownies) and it has a really smooth consistency which is great as vegan powders are usually grainy. If you can get past the taste then it’s fine, super cheap and gets the job done.Goes Well With:Ground almonds and coco powder (mix w water and it tastes like crumbled cake)

Chocolate Smooth? Chocolate cement more like!
1AVOID AVOID AVOID. Bought this to try as a replacement for Whey but it is absolutely awful. It barely mixes at all but when it does it just turns into a cement that won't even pour out of the shaker. The taste is gag inducing and I've tried a lot of the flavours MyProtein have invented over the years. I can't comment on how effective it is as I've only managed to stomach it twice after a workout in a month and I train 4 times a week. Don't waste your money if you're thinking about trying this, stick to what you know like I should have done!Goes Well With:sand to make cement.
