Top class
5I had previously used hard gainer extreme and impact whey protein because i'm trying to gain weight/mass but after a while I had discovered lumps/acne breaking out in my skin. Stopped using several dairy foods though it didn't heal/sure so therefore, I stopped using whey proteins because they're full of dairy/milk and browsed for alternative proteins that where lactose/dairy etc free. I then found soy protein isloate. This gear is brilliant. It might be a good bit thick and lumpy (which is why I have given mixability 2*) so unless you've got a blender, you'll be drinkin a shake made of stones. If you've a blender then I definitely recommend this product. It's got a thick/creamy texture which doesn't bother me at all because my smoothie/shake consists of whole milk, banana, oats, greek yoghurt and peanut butter so it kind of takes the sting away. If it's a dairy/lactose free protein supplement you're after then this is the gear to go for.Goes Well With:Water or milk (or what I listed above). Water is my preference though. Milk might make it too thick and therefore harder to drink.

Soy protein
5Everyone seems to opt for whey protein for gains/ goals. However amino acid wise, spy contains an impressive range and mix of these amino acids! I have tried hundreds of different proteins and like to change as and when I like to see if I can discover something new. This is absolutely GORGEOUS. You can't dislike this protein drink. It mixes like refined powder and water, creates a lovely thick milkshake consistency and tastes like heaven. It's so flawless it's remarkable- the price and taste and quality!!Goes Well With:Milk, water, oat milk, coconut water, all fruit

Good Product - Bit Lumpy
5I am a vegetarian so I bought this too add more protein to my diet. It definitely has helped in my training for a marathon but does come out very thick and lumpy. Better when you add more water then recommended. I went for unflavoured to add to different smoothies, so I could have a variety and because protein level is different in flavoured varieties. Can't complain too much as the price is very good. Goes Well With:In smoothies usually either 1 scoop plus a handful of frozen berries and a banana or 1 scoop plus a tbs peanut butter and a banana. You can taste the powder less in the peanut butter version but I like the variety.

AMAZING!
5I have been using this for some time now and can honestly say it is my favourite thing ever. I buy the chocolate smooth flavour (haven't tried the others so can't comment on them) but LOVE the taste, really chocolatey, no after taste, not too sweet. It's nice mixed either with water or any dairy free milks (my favourite is coconut or hazelnut - liquid nutella!), it is also nice mixed with soya yoghurt, goes almost like a mousse consistency. I haven't had any problems mixing it, it blends well or if you don't have a blender just whisk it with a fork. I can't really comment on it's effectiveness as I just use it to ensure I'm getting enough protein as a vegan ( or when I want something sweet but not unhealthy!). Highly recommend!Goes Well With:Water, milk, yoghurt

Seriously amazing
5So many vegan proteins are really chalky and gross, but this is smooth and amazing. There are loads of reviews saying its thick, but just adding more liquid makes it wonderful. I have the vanilla and it tastes amazing, I add it to my oats in the morning as well for some breakfast proteinGoes Well With:Life

My go to protein
5I have the chocolate smooth flavour and I think it's pretty good. I usually add one scoop to 300ml of almond milk in a blender (using a shaker will not work) and it comes out thick but drinkable. I can only compare the thickness to a McDonald's milkshake which is good in my opinion as when cutting it fills you up! Goes Well With:Overnight oats

Tasty gains
5Had several protein shakes in the past but due to lactose intolerance have had to move to soy. Tastes great, mixes well and really starting to notice the swell and quick repairs. Would highly reccomend for any intermediate trainingGoes Well With:Much prefer with milk but that's just personal preference, adding blueberries for some added taste and antioxidants always goes down well

Bloomin gross
1This is definitely the worst protein shake I've ever had. It doesn't mix well at all resulting in gross dry lumps when drinking it, it needs more water as it's really really thick too. I literally had to choke this down. It's so bad I couldn't handle the 1 1/2 scoop serving size and could only manage one scoop at a time, resulting in less protein intake for me and a negative effect on my training (I had the chocolate flavour)Goes Well With:The bin

Soy protein isolate
4The chocolate tastes lovely but the vanilla isnt very nice, it fills you up perfect for a replacement snack/meal, will buy chocolate again its like a treat but not being bad for your diet. I used just water but added a bit more as found it bit to thick for me.

Why so much salt?!
3Overall it's a good product but the one thing that makes me looks elsewhere is the 1.1 grams of salt per serving! I've seein other soy protein products with half that amount. Would love it if that was reduced! :)Goes Well With:Smoothies and porridge
