Decent alternative
4First time trying a vegan bar and pleasantly surprised! Taste and texture good. Can’t vouch for effectiveness after just one! But it filled a whole and went well with coffee. Goes Well With:Coffee

2Not my favourite protein bar! I was hoping I could find a nice flavoured vegan bar but unfortunately just like vegan protein powders, it’s not something I would buy again.

Driest bar ever tasted
1This bar is so dry, it feels like it has ingredients missing, mainly wet ingredients to combine everything. Genuinely feels like the ingredients were dry mixed and just pressed together. It also strangely smells like rum and raisins... Which is extremely disappointing when you bite in and need half a litre of water to rehydrate your mouth. Goes Well With:Water to rehydrate your mouth.

Did Quality Control Consume a 'Whole' Atacama Desert Dry Bar?
2Or did they just sample a nano piece for a flavour test? It's dry. Mouth-chokingly dry. Be prepared-to consume the average humans daily water intake, just to consume this small bar. Even the questionable palm oil couldn't moisten this brick. (Note: My flavour didn't have the ingredients listed, so I couldn't be sure of it's exact contents at the time of ordering.) I have never had any issues with taste or experienced difficulties associated with the ability to consume any pill or powder supplement in over 30 years of use. I'm not one to complain, so; If a pill is quite large; I take it with 'a bit more' water. Therefore, I drink a little more to consume a mixture of the 35 tablets or large softgels per sitting in one hit. If a pill or powder has a bad taste, I merely consume it quickly; as it's not a Michelin starred meal at the Fat Duck. But even though the taste is fine, consuming this even in normal time is difficult without taking-on a whole days fluids, which is totally unnecessary. On the plus side; 1. The flavour wasn't too bad. 2. Also; it may be doing some good. But, what is apparent, is that THG shouldn't be making these food products. As, I was offered some Myprotein 'protein cheese' many, many years ago, from a friend who had ordered two of them, and said that his first block was inedible. I thought that he obviously hadn't sealed it properly prior-to refrigeration. The cheese was yellow before it was opened, and despite being air-locked shut, within 2 hours of refrigeration, the cheese became an uncuttable orange block of a door-stop. It appears as though, many years later, and things clearly haven't changed. My advice would be to avoid all of these MyProtein snack 'type' food products; but, it's just one persons rare opinion; so, it's up to you. I'd stick with the powders and pills. Goes Well With:A good Chef. Who either knows how to make these products better, or knows to leave the ingredients on the kitchen table, or on the tree; and to not make these products at all.

Foul taste. Awful texture.
1All bland flavours are like sand and cardboard mixed together with some dark advent calender chocolate to encase it and a sprinkle of dissapointment. I bought a bundle off eBay thinking they would be good in-between gym and doing the school run but blooming heck, I can see why someone tried to flog them! Make sure you have a drink nearby or even better, a bin!!Goes Well With:A strong jaw, a litre of water and having no taste buds.
